Norway and France have signed a letter of intent to expand and strengthen defense and security cooperation, the Norwegian Ministry of Defense announced today.. Norwegian Defense Minister Bjorn Arild Gram and French Defense Minister Sebastian Lecornu met in Oslo to sign the agreement.

Both countries plan to strengthen cooperation on education and training in Norway and will work together to counter hybrid threats to critical infrastructure such as submarine cables and power lines, the statement said..

Earlier, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said that Norway would send 2 billion euros of military support to our state.. He believes that “these agreements will take our cooperation to a new level”.
