The Ukrainian biathlon team has won its second gold medal at the 2025 Winter Universiade.
The performance of Sergei Suprun and Alexandra Merkushina in the single mixed relay ended with victory.
The Ukrainians took the lead after the fifth shooting session performed by Merkushina. She increased the lead over her pursuers to 42 seconds and passed the baton to Suprun, who made two mistakes, but managed to maintain the lead over the Czechs and first place.
