Ukrainian coaches this week began an internship in the Manchester City system.

According to the official website of the UAF, as part of the program, 20 Ukrainian coaches have been undergoing theoretical and practical training for several days at the “Citizens” base, where the club’s first team is training.

Before the internship program, a selection was opened among Ukrainian trainers. Anyone could apply. Candidates were selected according to the following criteria: availability of a UEFA C, B or A coaching license, experience working with children’s and youth teams, as well as the ability to introduce innovations into the training process in Ukraine.

During this week, selected coaches will be able to immerse themselves in the modern football philosophy of Manchester City, become familiar with the training methods of the club's academy, and also visit the training bases of both the children's teams and the main team.

It is noted that the internship became possible thanks to the cooperation between the UAF and Manchester City, which was formalized in the summer.

Earlier it was reported that Manchester City agreed on the transfer of the young Brazilian defender.
