Eddie Hearn, the promoter of former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, spoke about plans for his protege after the breakdown of the fight against Tyson Fury, who announced his retirement.
The British boxer's representative listed potential opponents his client could face in the ring.
" He's ready to fight anyone. We have to look at big fights, but I don't want him to take on a tough challenge without commercial gain. That would mean I didn't do my job. Joshua is not as focused on money as I am.
I would like to do a fight against Martin Bakole in Africa. Against Dillian Whyte in London. Against Deontay Wilder in America. With the winner of the fight Agit Kabayel vs. Zhang Zhilei. Right now I'm just listing names, but I have no idea if these confrontations are possible.
To be honest, who really gets AJ going is Tyson Fury and the winner of Daniel Dubois vs. Joseph Parker. That doesn't mean he's not ready for other opponents. All I can say for sure is that Joshua will fight this summer,” Hearn told Seconds Out.
Previously, Fury's promoter said whether Tyson could return for a fight with Joshua.
