The football player signed a short-term contract.

Nottingham head coach Nuno Espiritu Santu informed that 37-year-old Welsh goalkeeper Wayne Gennesi had returned to the club.

The Welshman will play for Nottingham from 2022 to 2024, and in the summer, stripping the team of its free agent status.

“It’s a pity that Wayne was not able to show all his mastery through injury. Ale is now healthy and part of our team again. We are pleased that Gennesi is back with us,” said the coach.

The footballer signed a contract with the Foresters until the end of the season.
