While visiting European countries, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is allegedly begging and blackmailing others for money, and this needs to stop.. This was stated by Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico during a meeting of the European Affairs Committee, which was convened by opposition deputies of the national council regarding the politician’s trip to Russia.
The Prime Minister threatened to stop financial assistance to Ukraine at the European level.
“I am ready to veto the decision to send 50 billion euros to Ukraine,” he said, adding that “half of it will be stolen anyway.”.
He noted that he is not going to “go hand in hand” with Zelensky, who sometimes “bores” him.
Fico also said that Slovakia can stop any humanitarian aid. Regarding the possible interruption of electricity supply in the event of an emergency, he said that “even coalition partners will not limit him in this,” since it is not the state that receives the money for these supplies, but electricity producers.
Fico pointed out the danger of stopping the transit of Russian gas through the territory of Ukraine and emphasized that accusing him of trying to resolve the crisis through a visit to Moscow is “extremely interesting and ridiculous”. However, he emphasized that Russia has always been a reliable partner in the field of energy supplies and has never deceived Slovakia.
Let us recall that Vladimir Zelensky emphasized that the shadow agreements between Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico and Russian President Vladimir Putin are either trading in state interests or working for his own pocket.
After the termination of transit through the territory of Ukraine, Slovakia will receive gas through Hungary and the Turkish Stream, but will lose 1.5 billion euros..
