In Poland they announced the “last” Ramstein

Tomorrow's meeting of the Contact Group for the Defense of Ukraine in the Ramstein format may be the last. Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh said this at a press conference, reports 300 Polityka on Wednesday, January 8.

The minister recalled that the Ramstein format is broader than NATO.

" “I want to thank him first of all for his uncompromising support for Poland, for the presence of American troops in Poland, for his support for Ukraine, for joint initiatives,” the minister said.

Kosinyak-Kamysh added that “this may be the last meeting of this type, since the new US administration will likely propose a different form of this activity.”.

“I believe that NATO must take on a big burden, just as it has taken on a big burden now, starting this year, in activities related to the defense of the airport in Jasionka,” he said.
