Interim WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker speaks out about Oleksandr Usik's victory over Tyson Fury.
The New Zealander was in the corner of the British ring and was sure that it was Tyson who won.
" If you rewatch the fight, it's very close. I think the fight could have gone either way. I'm not sure about such a big gap on the judges' cards. But I'm not a judge"
Parker said that Usyk and Fury are the best boxers of the generation, and they had a fantastic fight.
" He put pressure on him all the time, forcing Usyk to step back. But Alexander returned with his blows. When two of the best fighters in the division, two of the best fighters in the world fight and give it their all, it's a great spectacle to watch,"
Usyk defeated Fury in a rematch by unanimous decision (116-112, 116-112, 116-112).
Previously, Parker spoke about his plans after defeating Dubois.
