Ukrainians accumulated a record 436 million hryvnia in national cashback in December. This is 180 million more than in the previous month. Payments for December and January will be made at the end of February 2025 due to the nature of the budget process. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine on Monday, January 6.

According to the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko, the program is showing stable growth.

“In December, Ukrainians accumulated 436 million hryvnia in cashback, which is almost 50 million more than the state paid cashback in the previous three months combined. Representatives of different age groups participate in the program,” she noted..

The most active users are young people under 45 years old, accounting for 57.4% of participants. Middle-aged people (45-60 years old) - 22.4%, and over 60 years old - 20.2%. The majority of participants are women (62.3%), while men make up 37.7%.

In November, 2 million Ukrainians have already received cashback totaling 232 million hryvnia.

Cashback in the amount of 10% is awarded for purchases of Ukrainian goods from the approved list purchased in stores participating in the program. Such products have special marks, and stores have stickers informing about participation in the program.

The funds received can be spent on paying for utilities, medical and transport services, education, mobile communications, medicines, books and other printed materials. It is also possible to transfer cashback to charity or support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The program covers more than 1,665 manufacturers and 360 thousand Ukrainian-made goods. 17 banks have already joined it, including PrivatBank, monobank, Oschadbank, Sense Bank and others.
