San Marino team achieved a further victory by beating Liechtenstein in the Nations League match (1:0).

The triumph of the “white-blacks” was brought by a goal from Nico Sensoli, scored on the 53rd goal of the match.

For San Marino, another victory in history and a first for 20 years - in the 2004 season it was possible to win the same Liechtenstein in a friendly match. In this manner, the Sanmarinians celebrate their first success in official games.

It is also noteworthy that San Marino managed to break the longest winless streak of national teams in history - 141 matches.

It is significant that on the 10th of the year San Marino plays on the road against Gibraltar in the other round of the League of Nations.
