Unfortunately, while performing one of his combat missions, he was seriously wounded. In particular, an enemy fragment flew directly into the musician’s head while he was in cover. According to the frontman of the group " " We were in shelter, but it flew right inside. Without sound, without anything, it was just as if a button had been pressed and the whole space was covered in the yellow-white color of a flash.. I realized that I was hurt. I listened to myself and realized that I didn’t feel my body at all. There is simply a color and a point that thinks, and the internal dialogue remains. But I understand that if I think, I am wounded, not dead. The guys dragged me behind the cars and when I came to my senses, I took a very deep first slow breath.. It was very difficult to breathe. Head wound. The fragment went straight into the brain and stayed there.. The brain doesn’t experience pain, so I wasn’t in pain, but I was so weak that I just wanted to disappear. It was unbearable to even look and perceive that I was alive,” Gaman said in an interview with Ukrainian Witness..

As a result, the wounded singer was hospitalized and operated on in time, which saved his life. Gaman even showed what his head looks like after healing. “They bandaged me, evacuated me very quickly and I woke up after the operation in Zaporozhye. The scar turned out good. I was very lucky with the surgeon,” admitted the artist.

In addition, the musician has even returned to creativity. In particular, he released a new song “Tokmachka”, the cover of which was a real photograph from Roman’s MRI, where enemy debris is visible in his skull.
