Lechia on its official website announced the extension of the contract with Ukrainian football player Ivan Zhelezko.

The new agreement with the 23-river Ukrainian is insured until the summer of 2028.

" I love this place, the people, our stadium and, of course, the passion that our patients demonstrate. Let’s move it further so that people write with our team,” Zhelezko said.

Guess what, Ivan has been performing at the warehouse of the Polish club since last summer. In his debut season, he played 28 matches, scoring three goals and giving two assists.

It is also significant that Zelizka was recognized as the shortest supporting player in another Polish division.

Lechia enters the Ekstraklasa in the new season. In the first round, she shared points with Shlyonsky (1:1).
