The High Anti-Corruption Court has chosen a preventive measure for ex-adviser to the presidential office Artem Shylo, who is suspected of millions of dollars in fraud in the purchase of equipment for Ukrzaliznytsia.. He was sent to a pre-trial detention center for two months - until May 31 inclusive.

The corresponding decision was announced by investigative judge Ekaterina Sikora on April 4.

SAPO prosecutor Vitaly Kravets asked to set bail in an amount of more than 50 million hryvnia. He noted that Shilo could be hiding from the investigation, since, in particular, his ex-wife (with whom they continue to live together) is abroad with their children. According to investigators, he has a PESEL identification number in Poland and shares in some legal entities.

If bail is posted, Shiloh must:.

come to the investigator, prosecutor or court upon request;

do not leave the city of Kyiv and the Kyiv region without permission;

refrain from communicating with employees of the Security Service of Ukraine, as well as the current head of Ukrzaliznytsia Yevgeny Lyashchenko, Minister for Strategic Industries, who previously headed UZ Alexander Kamyshin, Minister of Infrastructure Kubrakov, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Oleg Tatarov, Head of the Presidential Office Andrey;

refrain from visiting premises owned or occupied by Ukrzaliznytsia, the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Cabinet of Ministers, the office of the President of Ukraine;

deposit your international passport and other documents that allow you to leave Ukraine.
