The evidence of the Ukrainian central military officer Maxim Imerekov rose from Viktor Skrypnyk in the warehouse of the Kharkov Metalist 1925. The football player moved to the Kharkiv club from the Greek Atromitos Atheni.

Maxim Imerekov spoke about how the transition took place.

" From that hour they began to dissent from their squad, from their homeland. If we already thought that we were ready to go home, we already started talking to the club to cancel the contract and go home.

I can say even more that my children and squad are already in Ukraine. The stinks are farther away from here, below me. Because, in the first place, there was more to their decisions. I wasn't even comfortable there. To be honest, the stinks were already behind the house. My children constantly told me: if we go home, we’ll go with our grandfather and sister. They really wanted to turn around.

The moment I had already signed all the documents, the children already knew that we would be going home, and if I arrived home and said that that’s it, we were going home in just two days. It seems to me that during the entire period that we were in Greece, I did not make my children so happy. They had emotions that cannot be expressed in words,” said Imerekov.
