The captain of the Lviv team recovered from a serious injury during a sparring match at training camp.

Player and captain of the Lviv Rukh Marko Sapuga can no longer help his team this season. The press service of the club informs about this.

The 20-year-old Ukrainian took advantage of yesterday's friendly match at the training camp against the Austrian Sturm (0:0).

After a medical examination, it became clear that the football player had a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament. In the coming year, Sapuga will undergo surgery as soon as he returns to Warsaw.

According to the doctors' forecasts, Marco will miss about 7-8 months.

This season Sapuga played 17 matches, including one assist.
