UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin met with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, reports the official website of the organization.

A dialogue during which Ceferin and Zelensky exchanged views on current geopolitical and sports nutrition issues over the weekend.

The UEFA President expressed incredible encouragement for the dedication of Ukraine and the courage of its people. The Swede is confident that the peaceful situation will bring stability and prosperity to Ukraine.

Ceferin also encouraged the Ukrainian national team to achieve success in the upcoming playoff matches in the selection for Euro 2024. Zelensky praised UEFA for the harmony of the world, tolerance and honesty through its efforts and for the encouragement that the organization gives to Ukraine.
