The European Cup spring will begin again without the participation of the Lugansk club.

In the fifth round of the group stage of the UEFA Conference League, Quartet B Lugansk Zorya suffered a terrible loss to Belgian Ghent with a score of 1:4 and wasted the rest of the chances to fight each other in Quartet B and to advance to the playoffs.

It is significant that the “men” have already been knocked out of the European Cup at the group stage. Moreover, Zorya had never left the group on the road until she was drowned in the European.

In the 2016/17 season, the Luhansk club was placed fourth in Europe in the same quartet as Manchester United, Fenerbahce and Fenord.

In the 2017/18 season, Zorya took the third place in the League of Europe in the same group with Athletic Bilbao, Hertha and Ostersund.

In the 2020/21 campaign, the “men” became third in the group of the European League, with Braga, Leicester and AEK Athens as their superstars.

In the 2021/22 season, Zorya was unable to finish the group stage of the Conference League, finishing in third place with the quartet of Roma, CSKA Sofia and Bud-Glimtom.
