Saudi Arabian Al-Ittihad has appointed a new head coach for the team. I am the 47-year-old Argentinean Marcelo Gallardo. This information is provided by TyC Sports.

The Argentine star will sign a contract with the Saudi club for a repeat contract with an option to renew for the same term.

Marcelo Gallardo remembered his work for the Argentine giants River Plate (2014-2022), winning the Argentine championship once (2021) and two Copa Libertadores (2015, 2018).

According to reports, Al-Ittihad is fifth in the Saudi Arabian Championship, ahead of the leading Al-Hilal by 11 points.
