The Ukrainian midfielder shared his thoughts ahead of the Euro 2024 selection.

Ukrainian national team player Egor Nazarina commented on the preparation of the national team for the upcoming matches of the Euro 2024 qualifying cycle.

“It’s really nice to work with such a coach, with such a mentality of coaches. I got to know them at the last training camp, and I’m very accepting of working with such a coaching mindset.

You can see the European approach of this coaching staff, which is not much in Ukrainian football. That's why it works. It’s amazing if everything is fine, if everyone has a ball, if I explain to you what you want to play on the football field. This motivates. It’s more pleasant to work in such a camp.

The matches against Eastern Macedonia and Malta will be different in their own way. I guess we'll be the favorite. These matches are no less important for us, including games with Italy and England. These are the matches that we need to overcome. Let's get ready. I am confident that a positive result is within reach,” Nazarina said in an interview with VZBIRNA.

It was previously reported that Ukraine had begun full-scale preparations before the match against Northern Macedonia.
