The Ukrainian team is preparing for the match against Pivnichnaya Macedonia.

Ukrainian national football coach Georgiy Sudakov spoke about the beginning of the team’s preparations for the Euro 2024 qualifying matches against Eastern Macedonia and Malta.

“We arrived to Prague in a garish mood - I pay respect to the graves of Shakhtar. Aje recently showed a very impressive game in Liza champions. Giving up - 0:2, they thought they could overcome it. A similar situation occurred in the national team’s match with Pivnichnaya Macedonia. We lost the same way, but then we won – 3:2. We will prepare for the upcoming fights.

After such comebacks, you understand that anything is possible in football. You need to practice and believe in your strength, then everything will be fine. After the match with Antwerp we immediately flew to Prague. I’ve been here for three days now, and now it’s time for me to finish, I’m already refreshed. Today was the first training session - the boys from Dynamo just jogged for a little while, and Shakhtar's representatives also worked on their technique and played in the square.

Pivnichna Macedonia is a difficult opponent, and we’ve already been spoiled. The Macedonians recently played against Italy, so they are a very strong team. It is probable that in Praza there will be more of our patients and, obviously, more support. We understand that it will be easier to gamble at the first match on the road. It is necessary to seriously adjust to the burden of the first hulks, so that it doesn’t turn out like the one in front,” said Georgy Sudakov.

Rebrov's team will play its next match against Pivnichnaya Macedonia. It will be on the 14th of June at 16:00 Kyiv time. Then there will be a match with Malta – 17th.
