Barcelona announced on its official website that the financial period for the 2022/23 season ended with a net profit of 304 million euros after the payment of taxes, which was finally confirmed by budget of the previous campaign.
In the 2022/23 season, Barcelona generated a consolidated operating income of 1.259 billion euros for operating expenses of 1.165 billion euros.
These results were achieved in a season that marked the history of record-breaking operating performance in the commercial and facility operation sectors. The club has achieved an increase in all areas of business, having recorded in the skin of them the indicators of what they are looking for.
On a commercial level, the club achieved record figures with revenue of 351 million euros (+43% equal to the previous year). The sponsorship amount practically reached 200 million euros, and sales in club stores amounted to 100 million euros, which is also an absolute record.
The operations of the facilities ended with a total income of 229 million euros, which is 14% more than planned and 8% more than was recorded in the 2018/19 season, the last full season before the coronavirus pandemic.
For the 2022/23 season, Barcelona received a record number of new sponsors - 20, which brought in 97.6 million euros. Particularly relevant was the 7.8 million euros allocated to women's football, which is 95% more than in the 2021/22 season. For the 2022/23 season, six more new sponsorship contracts were signed worth 36 million euros, which will be insured for the 2023/24 season.
Based on the budget for the 2023/24 season, the club forecasts revenues of 859 million euros and profits of 11 million euros before paying taxes.
