The European Commission is preparing to submit a recommendation on how to begin negotiations with Ukraine on possible membership in the European Union, as well as promoting an initiative aimed at supporting Ukraine in the areas of defense and finances from our allies. The head of the commission, Ursula von der Leyen, respected that Ukraine has already achieved significant successes after relinquishing its candidate status in the dark past.
The European Commission emphasized the need for recommendations to begin negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU as a political commitment, especially with regard to the settlement of problems with which Ukraine is stuck.
The head of the “Servant of the People” faction, David Arakhamia, said that the parliament had already won 99.9% of the EU by starting negotiations on accession and having discussed a bill that would strengthen control over politicians. In his words, the bill was received with various thoughts, except in the opinion that it should be examined and accepted from another reader.
