Flat warts on the face may result in an unacceptable cosmetic defect. These are small plaques, about three to five millimeters in size, with a light brown or russet tint and a smooth surface with a slight sheen. Compared to other products, little skin or black spots are visible on them.

Most often, warts appear in groups, and although the stench does not cause itching or discomfort, their presence may be unacceptable. Therefore, they are classified as a cosmetic defect, and not a disease. However, regardless of this, the treatment of flat warts on the face may be necessary.

If left untreated, the stench can multiply and spread to other parts of the body. Flat warts most often appear in young people and children, which is why they are called “junior warts.”. However, stench can also appear in adults, even younger. Sometimes the stench can go away on its own, but you won’t have to pay for it again.

The main reason for the appearance of flat warts on the face is human papillomavirus (HPV). Flat warts are often diagnosed with the first, second and fourth types of HPV. The infection is transmitted by direct contact with someone carrying the virus. People of advanced age also experience the risk group due to their peculiarities of the immune system.

The incubation period for the virus may be prolonged, and sometimes warts may appear only after a few months. The most common place where flat warts appear is on the face - forehead, chin, nasolabial area and around the eyes.

It is clear that warts can appear on their own through two forces. The stench does not remove scars on the skin after exposure. However, it is not recommended to treat them on your own without consulting a doctor, as this may lead to skin swelling, scarring and short-term results.. It is best to go to a dermatologist to choose the best method for treating flat warts on the face.
