Singer-bandura player Victoria Derkach appeared on the stage of “Voice of the Country-13” with her vocal abilities.. The vocalist not only sings, but also plays the bandura. Victoria glorifies the authentic Ukrainian instrument and shows that it is not something old and forgotten, but, on the contrary, modern.
" I think this is a very similar moment right now.. I try to support people with my music. It is very important for me to show the instrument to all peoples of the world and talk about it. Show how multifaceted the bandura is. This is not just an instrument from ancient times, it is already a modern instrument that can be played in any style. Today on “Golos” I am very happy that people all over Europe will be able to hear our authentic, but this is a modern instrument,” the vocalist shared. On the stage of the project, the girl performed a duet composition by Artem Pivovarov and Nadya Dorofeeva. They were the ones who turned the coaching chairs around. By the way, it turned out that the performers never sang the track together. At “Voice of the Country-13” Pivovarov and Dorofeeva sang “Dumi” for the first time. They were accompanied by Victoria Derkach, who sang along and played the bandura. Their performance gave me goosebumps..
“I don’t know how it happened, but the whole time we were on tour, we were constantly in different cities in Europe, in different cities in Ukraine,” Nadya noted. Finally, after a joint performance with the coaches, Victoria Derkach chose Artem Pivovarov’s team.
