In another match of this round of group C, the Ukrainian team won a draw (1: 1) against the team of England. After the matches of the fifth round, the England team (13 points) is leading in Group C. In second place is Ukraine (7 points). Followed by Italy (4), North Macedonia (4) and Malta (0). As part of the 6th round of Euro 2024 qualifying, the Italians will host Ukraine on September 12, and North Macedonia will play away against Malta. The two best teams from each group will advance to the finals of the 2024 European Championship. The holders of three more tickets to the continental championship will be determined in the playoffs, which will include 12 teams depending on their performance in the 2022/23 Nations League. The draw for the final part of Euro 2024 will take place in December 2023, and the tournament itself will be hosted by Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024. The German national team, as the host of the tournament, entered the continental championship without qualification.
