The list of diseases that exempt a person from mobilization and military service is indicated in Appendix 1 of the Regulations on military medical examination in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Only persons are considered unfit for military service upon removal from military registration:.
with heart failure stage II-B-III with non-coronary heart disease;
with heart failure stage II-B-III in ischemic heart disease;
with stage III hypertension;
with cerebrovascular disease (for example, cerebral infarction or stroke) with significant impairment of function;
with non-coronary heart diseases (pericardium, myocardium, endocardium, valvular apparatus), accompanied by heart failure;
with cor pulmonale and impaired pulmonary circulation: pulmonary embolism, all forms of pulmonary heart disease;
with pulmonary vascular diseases, all forms of cardiomyopathy, cardiac arrhythmias and conduction disturbances, accompanied by heart failure;
with degeneration (dystrophy) of the myocardium, mitral valve prolapse and other lesions of the heart valves, the consequences of surgical interventions for congenital or acquired heart defects, accompanied by heart failure.
