On May 26, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed laws that expand the work of military medical commissions and simplify the circulation of documents and treatment for the military, approved in early May by the Verkhovna Rada.

Law No. 9154 provides for the possibility of creating military medical commissions not only at territorial recruitment centers, but also at state and municipal healthcare institutions.

At the same time, Law No. 9158 provides for the improvement of the procedure for issuing a certificate of the circumstances of the injury to the military both as a result of an appropriate investigation (official or special), and without it.. In particular, the document flow between military units and healthcare institutions has been simplified.. A certificate of injury will now be drawn up within five days based on the report of the immediate commander and the order of the commander of the military unit.

Earlier, human rights activist Victoria Tyutyunnikova told whether it is possible to appeal the decision of the military medical commission and how to go through this function.
