At least 10% of the population of Ukraine will be involved in veteran services after the end of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Minister for Veterans Affairs Yulia Laputina spoke about this in an interview with Radio Liberty.

She noted that the number of citizens who will have the status of a veteran after the war will increase by 4 times, and will amount to about 4-5 million people involved in veteran policy..

Laputina noted that about a year before demobilization, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs should provide a person with a clear list of tools where a person can fulfill himself upon returning to civilian life..
