In April, the average interest rates on new bank loans in the national currency fell by 0.3 p.p.. up to 36.1% per annum. At the same time, the loan portfolio of banks decreased. This is stated in the data of the National Bank (NBU).

According to the NBU, rates on new loans for the population in foreign currency fell from 2.6% to 2.2% per annum.

Rates on hryvnia loans for enterprises did not change in April - 20.2% per annum, on foreign currency loans increased from 6.2% to 6.8%.
