He noted that in Ukraine, vaccination coverage is below 70% among the general population and barely reaches 30% among people over 60 years old..

“As of April 23, more than 12.3 million people did not receive the first booster, that is, they do not have full protection. The coronavirus continues to circulate, in the fall we can see another seasonal wave of incidence, so I advise all adults to restore protection, ”explained Kuzin.

So, at the beginning of May in Ukraine, 3,192,442 people received the first booster dose, 312,424 people received the second booster dose..

According to Kuzin, there are almost 8 million doses of vaccines in Ukraine, and this is enough to continue the vaccination campaign against COVID-19.
