How to get free Affordable Medicines.

In Ukraine, the Affordable Medicines program includes 405 medicines (excluding insulin and combination medicines) and another 72 insulin medicines and nine combination medicines.

To find out which of them are completely free, the website of the Ministry of Health contains an up-to-date register of medicines subject to reimbursement..

In the table you can see:.

the name of the active substance (international non-proprietary name) and the trade name of the medicinal product (columns No. 2 and No. 3);

form of release and dosage (columns No. 4 and No. 5);

number of medicinal product units in one package (column No. 6);

name and country of drug manufacturer (column no. 8);

the amount of additional payment for packaging (column No. 16) and other information.

In the last column of the table “amount of additional payment for the package”, you can see how much you need to pay extra for the drug. If you need to choose a completely free drug using an electronic prescription, then you need to:.
