Spring break in EU schools: when schoolchildren will have a rest

Due to the military invasion of the Russian Federation, many Ukrainians with children were forced to go abroad. In particular, our citizens found asylum in the EU countries, and the children went to European schools.

When will spring break be in European schools.

Schoolchildren, depending on the country, have the following spring break schedule:.

Poland - the beginning and end of school holidays in this country depends on the voivodship. But in most of them, schoolchildren have spring break during the Easter holidays from April 6 to April 11.

Germany - the vacation schedule depends on the specific land where the person lives. Spring break in German schools starts from March 6 to April 11 and ends from March 17 to April 22.

Austria – schoolchildren have Easter holidays from 1 to 10 April. Schools are also closed on Labor Day (May 1), Ascension Day (May 18) and Pentecost (May 27-29).

Estonia – holidays in this country are called break. So, the fourth break starts from 24 to 30 April.

Lithuania – schoolchildren will have a rest on spring break from March 11 to March 19. Lithuanian schools will also be closed on April 10 (Easter Monday), May 1 (Labor Day), May 4-5 (Independence Day). Here the children will have a rest from lessons in the spring from April 11 to April 14.

Czech Republic - Easter holidays in schools will last April 14-15.

Romania – schoolchildren will have holidays in the spring from 7 to 18 April.

Hungary – spring break in schools will start on April 6 and will last until April 11.

Slovakia – schools will have spring break from 6 to 11 April. Also, schoolchildren will have several additional days of rest - Labor Day (May 1) and Victory Day over Fascism (May 8).
