Ukrainians for the appointment of a housing subsidy must submit an application, documents and a declaration. The Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) told what to do if errors are found in the declaration.

How much time does an applicant have to correct an error in the declaration.

The error can be corrected within 30 calendar days from the date of submission of documents. At the same time, the 30-day period for correcting an error may be extended for the duration of the applicant's illness.. In this case, the fact of illness must be documented (clause 47 of the Regulations on the procedure for assigning housing subsidies).

The applicant must be informed about this within three calendar days from the date of the decision.. At the same time, the applicant is informed about the decision made by handing over the corresponding paper message under his personal signature indicating the reasons for the refusal and the procedure for appealing the decision or through the PFU electronic services web portal or the Diya portal.

“During the period of martial law in Ukraine, the authorized body may inform the applicant about the decision made over the phone, making an appropriate entry in a separate register of informing applicants,” the PFU concluded..
