The Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) has appointed Ruslan Rotan as acting head coach of the Ukrainian national team.

The agreement with the specialist is calculated until the entry into force of the contract with Sergey Rebrov. The contract with the latter will be signed for a period until July 30, 2024 with the possibility of extension by mutual agreement until the summer of 2026.
Currently, Rebrov remains the head coach of Al Ain in the UAE Championship. He will be able to accept the national team when he ceases cooperation with the club. Earlier media reported that this could happen in June, ahead of the Euro 2024 qualifying matches against North Macedonia (June 16) and Malta (June 19)..
Thus, Rotan will prepare the Ukrainian national team for the Euro 2024 qualifier against England, which is scheduled for March 26..
