The Polish army is preparing to order new domestic infantry fighting vehicles Borsuk. A framework agreement is to be signed next week between the Polish Ministry of Defense and a consortium of companies led by Huta Stalowa Wola. It is reported by PolskieRadio24.

Prototypes of this infantry fighting vehicle are currently being tested, which began in July 2022 and are still successfully ongoing.. Borsuk combat vehicles from the Polish defense industry should replace the obsolete Soviet BMP-1 and MT-LB in the ground forces of the Polish armed forces.
