Belgian Club Brugge lost at home to Portuguese Benfica in the first leg of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League - 0:2. At the end of the first half, the hosts were close to opening the score, but after watching a video replay (VAR), the referee canceled the goal due to offside. Immediately after the break, Lisbon seized their chance and took the lead - Joao Mario converted a penalty. And at the close of the match, Benfica consolidated its advantage in the score.
