Ukrainian tennis player Lesya Tsurenko became the finalist of the WTA 250 tournament in Hua Hin (Thailand).

In the semi-finals, the 33-year-old Ukrainian (No. 136 WTA) sensationally defeated the first seed of the competition Bianca Andreescu from Canada (No. 42 WTA).

The fight lasted an hour and 35 minutes.. Tsurenko won the first set with a score of 5:7 and led 0:4 in the second set, after which Andreescu, who had problems with her shoulder throughout the match, decided to withdraw from the game.
