Former world light heavyweight champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk (17-1, 14 KOs) will fight on February 11.

The opponent of the 35-year-old Ukrainian will be the 39-year-old Argentinean Jorge Miranda (58-21, 22 KOs). The fight will take place in Pomona, USA, as part of the TM Boxing and MarvNation Promotions show..

Alexander Gvozdyk is the bronze medalist of the 2012 Olympics in London, and in 2018, thanks to the victory over Adonis Stevenson, the Ukrainian became the WBC world champion.

Gvozdik had his last fight in October 2019 against Russian Artur Beterbiev and lost by TKO in the tenth round.. It was the first defeat in the career of a Ukrainian with 17 wins (14 by knockout). In June 2020, Gvozdyk announced his retirement.
