After the introduction of the visa regime with Russia, Ukraine issued visas to 12 citizens of the Russian Federation who traveled to Ukraine in order to reunite with their families. The visa regime with the Russian Federation has been in force in Ukraine since July 1, 2022, the restrictions on the travel of Russians to our country are dictated by security requirements in response to the full-scale Russian invasion on February 24.

Russians cannot apply for visas at the embassies and consulates of Ukraine in the Russian Federation - diplomatic institutions were closed in March.
