President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited Mykolaiv, where he held a meeting with the leadership of the region, as well as with Danish Prime Minister Matte Frederiksen, visited the wounded Ukrainian defenders in one of the hospitals of the city.

As stated in the presidential press service, during a meeting with the leadership of the region and the regional center, as well as the heads of law enforcement agencies of the Nikolaev region, they discussed the situation in southern Ukraine and the consequences of missile and drone attacks from Russia.

In particular, one of the issues discussed was the state of the energy infrastructure of the region, the pace of its restoration and ways to protect.

Another important topic was the restoration of educational institutions in the Mykolaiv region and the creation of jobs in the region.

After the meeting, Zelensky, together with a delegation from Denmark, in particular Prime Minister Matte Frederiksen, visited wounded Ukrainian defenders who are being treated.

Also, the head of the Danish government, together with Zelensky, visited the territory of the Nikolaev sea trading port, which suffered serious damage during Russian attacks on the city..

It is Denmark that will help Ukraine in the restoration of the Nikolaev region, for a long time a springboard for fighting with Russian invaders.
