If a person has worked for another 2 years after the appointment of a pension, he has the right to recalculate the pension according to the length of service.. This was reported in the Department of Social Insurance and Pensions of the Office of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine.

There are two ways to calculate the pension.

It is noted that from April 1, automatic recalculation of pensions for working pensioners is carried out..

"

In addition, the recalculation is carried out on the basis of a submitted application directly to the Pension Fund bodies or through the Electronic Services Portal of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, depending on when 24 months of insurance experience was acquired after the appointment of a pension.

Recalculation is made from the 1st day of the month in which the application was received, if the application with the necessary documents is submitted before the 15th day inclusive. And from the 1st of the next month - if they are submitted after the 15th.

It is also noted that the recalculation is carried out on the most favorable terms, that is, either only taking into account the length of service after the appointment (recalculation) of the pension, or taking into account the length of service and wages after the appointment (recalculation) of the pension (par.. 5 h. 4 st. 42 of Law No. 1058).

Will there be an increase in pensions in 2023?

However, as with the indexation of pensions, in 2023 the automatic recalculation of pensions for working pensioners will be carried out in the manner, on the conditions and within the time frame determined by the Cabinet of Ministers.. This is determined by paragraph 8 of the Final Provisions of Law No. 2710 provided for.

In turn, the increase in pensions due to the increase in the subsistence minimum in 2023 will not be carried out, since in accordance with Art.. 7 of Law No. 2710, the subsistence minimum for persons who have lost their ability to work is fixed at the level of December 2022 in the amount of UAH 2,093, and will not change during the year.

As a result, in 2023 there will be no increase in the minimum pension and other components of pension payments, the amount of which is calculated using the subsistence minimum for disabled citizens.

Recall that during the December indexation of pensions, no one really felt the increase, since it amounted to about 60 hryvnias..

We also recall that during the war, the Ministry of Social Policy ceased to publish the actual cost of living.
