The memory of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred was honored in Kyiv - photo report

On Sunday, January 22, the honoring of the first fallen Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred took place. In memory of the Maidan participants who died in January, lamps were lit and flowers were laid at the commemorative signs of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred: Mikhail Zhiznevsky, Alexander Badera and Roman Senik.

The fallen Maidanites were remembered at the memorial stand with portraits of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred and at the memorial sign in honor of Sergei Nigoyan near European Square. During the Revolution of Dignity, Sergei Nigoyan belonged to the Third Hundred Self-Defense, whose participants in 2015 opened an action.

" The Revolution of Dignity was imprinted in memory as a manifestation of incredible civic selflessness, courage and fortitude, when Ukrainians, at the cost of their own lives, rebelled against injustice and violence. Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred have become a symbol of dignity. and sustainability. Their exploits inspire Ukrainians to fight against Russian aggression today,” said Olga Savenok, head of the educational and organizational department of the National Museum of the Revolution of Dignity.
