More couples got married in Ukraine last year than in 2021, according to the Ministry of Justice. The agency reported without taking into account full statistics from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk, Luhansk and Kherson regions.

“In 2022, 198,332 couples in love got married in Ukraine (during March-December). And this is 7654 more than in the same period of the previous year,” the message says..

At the same time, for the same period of 2021, 190,678 marriages were registered in Ukraine.
