Back in the summer, the Verkhovna Rada adopted bill No. 7427, which provides for the establishment of a moratorium on increasing heat tariffs for the population. According to the bill, the moratorium will be in effect during martial law in Ukraine plus six months after.

The State Statistics Service showed how tariffs increased as of December 2022 compared to December 2021. In general, tariffs for this period increased by 6%.

So, most of all - by 24.6% - increased the cost of maintenance and repair of housing. Citizens also began to pay more for other housing and communal services.. For example, for garbage collection: this tariff for the year increased by 15.3%. The same applies to sewerage: this service has increased in price by 14.9%.

Water supply now pays 12% more. But for natural gas, Ukrainians began to pay 0.3% less. At the same time, the management of apartment buildings became more expensive by 3.2 percent..
