First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevgeny Enin, who died as a result of a service helicopter crash on a kindergarten in Brovary near Kyiv, went his career path from working in the Security Service of Ukraine and 15 years of service in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the deputy head of the law enforcement agency.

A native of Dnipro, in November, he managed to celebrate his 42nd birthday. Enin received his education at the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine, which he graduated with honors, and in 2010 he defended his dissertation on the topic “Ensuring the national interests of Ukraine in the process of settling the Transnistrian conflict” and received a PhD in political sciences.

After working in the SBU in 2005, Yevgeny Enin switched to diplomatic work. In particular, until 2010 he was the secretary of the Ukrainian Embassy in Moldova, supervised the issues of the Transnistrian settlement.

June 7, 2016 Enin was appointed Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko. He held this position until April 2019.. A year later, in April 2020, Enin became Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba.

Yevgeny Enin was appointed First Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Denis Monastyrsky on September 6, 2021.

With the start of a full-scale Russian invasion, Yevgeny Enin took part in the defense of the capital, worked to detect enemy sabotage groups.

Yevgeny Enin was a long-term author of ZN. UA during two periods of work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
