Ukrainian business predicts consumer price growth this year at the level of 23.3%. According to the National Bank, the inflationary sentiment of business leaders has improved. This is stated in the report "

For comparison, in the first quarter of 2022, inflation was expected at 8.7%, in the second quarter - 21.7%, in the third - 25.2%.

In the new forecast, 71.8% of respondents predict that consumer price growth over the next 12 months will not exceed 30.0% (69.0% thought in the preliminary survey). The proportion of respondents who expect inflation to stay below 20.0% rose to 37.6% from 28.3% in the pre-survey.

The most significant factor for the growth of consumer prices is hostilities (indicated by 89.2% of respondents). The influence of the " up to 65.8% of responses). The impact on price growth from the exchange rate factor is expected to weaken (71.3% of responses compared to 77.9% in Q3 2022).
