Despite the war, Ukraine continues to pay pensions and other social benefits. Some Ukrainians, in particular doctors, are entitled to a preferential pension. The Medichna Right publication told how medical workers who have not reached retirement age can receive a preferential pension.

Who is eligible for a discounted pension.

Health care workers working in positions and institutions provided for by the List of institutions of education, healthcare and social protection and positions, work in which gives the right to a retirement pension, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of 04. eleven. 1993 No. 909, regardless of age, with:.

at least 25 years of special experience as of April 1, 2015;

or at least 25 years 6 months as of January 1, 2016;

or at least 26 years, 6 months as of October 11, 2017.

The right to "

Periods of employment and other periods taken into account in the length of service for the appointment of a pension before the entry into force of Law No. 1058 (before January 1, 2004) are counted in the length of service in the manner and on the conditions provided for by the previous legislation in force.

According to Art.. 60 of the Law "

in leprosy and anti-plague healthcare institutions;

in institutions (departments) for the treatment of people with HIV or AIDS patients;

in other infectious diseases institutions (departments), in pathoanatomical and resuscitation departments;

in institutions for the provision of psychiatric care (regardless of the title of position).

To confirm work in such conditions, it is necessary to have an entry in the work book, and, if necessary, clarifying certificates from medical institutions.

Consequently, the right to a preferential calculation of the insurance period in accordance with Art.. 60 of Law No. 1788 is used by persons who worked in the above institutions before January 1, 2004. In the future, the length of service is calculated in a single amount - according to the personalized accounting system.

How is the amount of the reduced pension calculated?.

The amount of the superannuation pension is determined in accordance with Art.. 27 and taking into account the norms of Art.. 28 of law No. 1058.

The amount of the pension depends on:.

person's insurance experience;

the amount of salary on which insurance premiums were deducted.

The amount of the pension is calculated according to the formula: P \u003d Zp*Ks, where:.

P - the size of the pension, in hryvnias;

Zp - salary (income) of the insured person, determined in accordance with Art.. 40 of this law, from which the pension is calculated, in hryvnias;

Кс - the coefficient of the insurance period of the insured person, determined in accordance with Art.. 25 of this law.

For each full year of work experience in jobs with especially harmful and especially difficult working conditions, one additional year is included in the insurance experience.
