It became known who the representatives of Ukraine will play against at the start of the Australian Open-2023 qualification.
Four Ukrainians will try to break into the main draw of the first Grand Slam tournament of the season: Lesya Tsurenko, Daria Snigur, Katarina Zavatskaya and the only representative of the male personal category Oleksiy Krutykh.
Tsurenko (No. 137 WTA) in the first round of selection will fight with Japanese Yuki Naito (No. 226 WTA).
Snigur (No. 148 WTA) at the start of the qualification will meet with the Mexican Fernanda Contreras Gomez (No. 167 WTA).
Zawatskaya (No. 312 WTA) in the first round of selection will face the Dutch tennis player Eva Vedder (No. 223 WTA).
Krutykh (No. 185 ATP) will start the qualifier with an American Stefan Kozlov (No. 198 ATP).
We add that four Ukrainian tennis players automatically entered the main draw of the Australian Open 2023: Angelina Kalinina, Marta Kostyuk, Ekaterina Beindl and Dayana Yastremska.
Australian Open 2023 Main Network Competitions kick off January 16th and run until January 29th.
