Ukrainian tennis player Lesya Tsurenko made it to the semifinals of the ITF W60 tournament in Canberra, Australia.

In the quarterfinals, the 33-year-old Ukrainian (No. 137 WTA) defeated her rival from Germany, Eva Lis (No. 127 WTA), who is a native of Kyiv. When she was one year old, the parents of the future tennis player moved to Germany..

The fight lasted exactly 2 hours and ended with the victory of Tsurenko in three sets - 2:6, 7:5, 3:6.
