The first attempt to violate the EU embargo on sea imports of crude oil from Russia took place with the participation of a group of tankers. So, on December 23-24, three tankers with Russian crude oil arrived in the Laconian Gulf (Greece) at once. The Greek tanker Trident Hope left the Russian port of Taman on December 9, indicated the port of destination SG SIN Singapore when leaving the Sea of \u200b\u200bMarmara, changed the port of destination to GR KLX Kalamata, Greece, which actually arrived in the Laconian Gulf on December 23;

the Greek tanker Sovereign left the Russian port of Tuapse on December 10, when leaving it indicated the port of destination GR KLX Kalamata, Greece, which actually arrived in the Laconian Gulf on December 23;
